Based on the E. L. Doctorow, novel, Ragtime the series written and created by Lynn Nottage & Tony Gerber tells the gripping story of a multicultural group of inventors, thinkers, artists and disruptors at the dawn of a twentieth century, grappling with love and life, as they face down social and cultural obstacles to give vibrant shape to their dreams and desires. It begins in a moment of incredible turmoil, remarkably similar to the cultural and political upheaval we’re experiencing today.  The 10-part (10-hour) dramatic series will take us inside the​ robust lives of a cross-section of quintessentially American characters.
